Bridge – Operate as a bridge (via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Link) to your smart device (smartphone or tablet PC) when your smart device is out of the transmission range of the MeatProbe.
Wi-Fi Link – Sends temperature data to all smart devices connected to the same WiFi Network. This allows you to retrieve the cooking status from all around your house.
Bluetooth Link – When a Wi-Fi network is not available, use Extender mode for transmitting temperature data up to 300 feet (100 meters) line-of-sight in open air or up to 100 feet (33 meters) indoors with Bluetooth to your smart devices.
Cloud storage – Upload all temperature data to the cloud through Wi-Fi Link so that the cooking status can be monitored from any remote location with internet. (optional)
Use with up to 8 MeatProbes – Receive temperature data transmitted from up to 8 MeatProbes and retransmit the received temperature data through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Link.
Enhanced MeatProbe reception – increased reception sensitivity to receive signals from the MeatProbe when it is positioned inside a grill/oven/smoker which is completely enclosed by metallic or ceramic material. Able to be positioned up to 23 feet (7 meters) away in these extreme situations.
Backlit LCD – Display temperature information on the backlit LCD screen, including assigned name, current meat temperature, ambient temperature around meat, and estimated remaining cook time.
One large button – Press button on the top of housing to toggle between MeatProbes if multiple MeatProbes are in use. Long press to toggle backlight.
Audible Alerts – When a pre-set cooking situation occurs audible alert will sound, such as when the meat temperature hits the early warning or target temperature, when the ambient temperature is too high/low, when signal of the MeatProbe is lost, and/or the MeatProbe’s battery level is low.
Detachable WiFi antenna – For easy replacement with more powerful antenna to extend WiFi range if needed.
Ideal or those that do low and slow BBQ or cook very often.
